Privacy

Focus saves your data in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us or anyone else:

• today's focus time and daily totals for the current week;
• your daily goal;
• today's task list;
• your session journal: the intention, parked thoughts, rating, note, length and end time of each session, and whether it was stopped early;
• whether sound is on or off.

The goal, tasks and today's total reset every day. The journal is kept until you clear this site's data.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and how they find the site. It uses no cookies. For each page view it records the time, the page address, the referring site, an approximate location (country, region, city), and your device type, operating system and browser.

Visitors are counted with an anonymous hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so visits cannot be linked to you or followed across days or other sites. Nothing you type into Focus is ever included.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

When you start a session, Focus may ask to show notifications, so it can tell you when the session ends in a background tab. It also keeps your screen awake while a session or rest is running, and can open a mini timer window. All of this runs in your browser. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser settings.

No accounts, no cookies, no advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no selling or sharing of data.

Clear this site's data in your browser settings (often called “site data” or “cookies and site data”). This removes everything Focus saved.

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
